End of the Season

I love loading chutes... perhaps because they have been so much a part of my rural landscape for the past 50 years. Humble wood structures... sometimes fallen into disuse and overgrown with shrubs and weeds, other times, still used but showing the decades of hard wear... as evidenced by baling wire repairs and overlapping old boards.  They mark the landscape as an important element of rural living and agricultural use.
